Misburg civic and shooting festival

The Misburg Citizens' and Shooting Festival is a neighbourhood festival in Hanover-Misburg that takes place annually on the Schützenplatz on Ludwig-Jahn-Straße.

The festival combines traditional customs with modern event elements. The members determine their majesties - including the marksman's king, markswoman's queen, young marksman's king and others - and celebrate this together. The festival provides an opportunity for residents from Misburg-Anderten and guests from all over Hanover and the surrounding area to socialise.

  • When: Three days in August (15 to 17 August)

  • Where: Misburg shooting range, Ludwig-Jahn-Str., Hanover-Misburg-Anderten

  • What: Draught beer tapping, live music, family programme, banquet, traditional marches and award ceremony
