Cultural summer

From the 20 June to 20 August 2025 the Hannover Region will once again be the backdrop for an extraordinary cultural festival: The Cultural summer brings music, literature and film to historical and unusual venues. Whether Open-air cinema in the monastery garden, Classical music in the courtyard of a manor house or Folk concert on the industrial site - Here, cultural enjoyment and architecture merge in a special way.

The selection ranges from Blues and jazz concerts, about Readings up to Film screenings in the open air. The events are spread across the entire region - numerous locations are Partly barrier-free accessible. This is the ideal way to combine cultural enjoyment with a trip into the countryside.

The project is backed by the Hanover Region and the Hanover Cultural Region Foundationwho put on a varied and high-quality programme together with local artists. Ideal for anyone who wants to spend the summer with a high-quality cultural programme away from the mainstream.
